Hoop de Doo Dining Experience Review

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a family fun, Western themed vaudeville dinner show. It takes place at the Pioneer Hall located in Fort Wilderness.

One thing you need to know before you go, give yourself plenty of time to get there.

Fort wilderness restricts traffic & there are 3 way's to get to the pioneer hall.

1. Make your way to Magic Kingdom by car or coach & take a boat from the dock to Fort Wilderness

2.By Car travel to the main Entrance of Fort wilderness park on the parking lot there & take one of the internal buses to the Settlement area. ( it's about 1 mile)

3. Make your way to Magic Kingdom by car or coach & take a coach rom the bus terminal to Fort Wilderness.

There are 3 showings each day.

At 04:00pm, 06:15pm & 08:30pm.

Dinner is served family style and includes a Dinner Salad, buckets of Barbecue Spare Ribs, Fried Chicken, Corn, Baked Beans, and Strawberry Shortcake ( my personal favourite). Unlimited Soft Drinks, Coffee, Tea, Milk, Beer, Wine and Sangria are also included with the price.

The gratuity is also included within the cost of the ticket.

If you are on the dining plan, this will take 2 table service credits from your allocation.

The inside of theatre is split into 3 different category's for seating.

Category 1 seating will be on the ground floor closest to the stage

Category 2 seating will be on the Ground floor behind the Category 1 section below the balcony, or the centre of the balcony on the second level at the back.

Category 3 seating will in the Balcony to the right or left of the stage.

If you have anyone in your party in a wheelchair then Category 1 seating is the only place you can book.

On arrival at Pioneer hall you check in at a small kiosk just outside the hall.

When it is time to go in, one of the cast members will come out and ring a dinner bell.

The first time we visited in 2014 it was just my-self & the wife.

We were fortunate to have a table at the front of the hall just to the right of the stage.

Thee atmosphere was great & once the show started it was entertaining & funny from beginning to end.

The food was great this time ( in 2016 it all seemed a little dry) & our server was brilliant, bringing us drinks after drinks.

We have done it twice now & would recommend any one staying at Fort Wilderness or on property to try this show, you won't be disappointed.
